ABOUT ME

I’m a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at one of the largest dedicated eye hospitals in the UK. As a full-time consultant at the NHS Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre (BMEC), I specialise in complex corneal and cataract procedures. I’m one of the few eye surgeons in the UK to have completed the advanced fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery.

OUR FACILITIES

Private patients are seen at the state-of-the-art facilities at Midland Eye Institute in leafy Solihull. I have a dedicated, caring team of support staff in a calm, peaceful environment. Midland Eye Institute also has a top-class operating theatre. There’s also on-site parking available.

APPOINTMENTS

Private patients may book consultations with me here. Appointments will be scheduled at Midland Eye Institute in Solihull. In most cases, your eyes will be dilated with drops so you should ensure you have made travel arrangements. Please also bring a list of medications and you latest glasses and any reports you may have.

Your consultation will me will involve a number of clinical tests and a comprehensive examination of your eyes. Most importantly, we’ll discuss your management options. I’ll give you ample time to ask questions and explain things clearly.
STEP 3: Get Ready for Freedom!
Whether you’re being treated for cataract, lens replacement surgery or laser eye surgery prepare yourself for freedom from contact lenses and glasses. Post-operative appointments will be performed under my supervision and I’ll always be available in case you need me.
